Finale Storyboard

 THIS IS MY FINALE STORYBOARD

Refllection
The process was undeniably demanding; I attempted to condense the whole project into a single day of work, which forced me to learn and adapt rapidly. I transition my traditional skills to digital art and that demanded patience and practice, but it was fun doing so. The digital medium enabled me to explore various styles and techniques, ultimately elevating the storyboard visually.

Transitioning to digital for my storyboard was a game-changer, mainly because it provided convenient access to coloration. However, I encountered a significant problem that could potentially be my Achilles' heel. Since I created my storyboard digitally, I faced an issue with downloading the file directly from the drawing application. As a last-minute resort, I had to resort to taking a screenshot of the entire project, which unfortunately resulted in a substantial loss of quality. Everything became pixelated and blurry, reducing the overall visual appeal by like 50%.

I am determined to address and rectify this issue for a better final submission. However, given the time constraints, I acknowledge that I might not be able to make the necessary improvements in time for the deadline, so I decided not to force myself into it.

Critical Self Reflection

AS Level Media Studies Self Reflection by Giorgio W.W

Reflection: A self reclection on a self reflection, awesome. Canva was incredibely helpful, and I might consider using that application more frequently moving forward for future projects. Anyway, the presentation could've been better, as awalys, I planned to insert related images, for example my storyboard and my drawing equipments or whatnot, but due to the time constraint, better not force it.

1st Draft Storyboard

MY FIRST DRAFT OF STORYBOARDING - THE ROUGH VERSION OF THE FINALE STORYBOARD

Reflection:
The format I used for the draft storyboard was in a comic-style format. It's both enjoyable and easier to grasp the flow simply by looking at it. I found the process of creating my initial storyboard quite rewarding. It served as an important starting point for my final project. During my review, I identified areas for improvement. One of them is the need for better organization. In my opinion some scenes felt disconnected, and I could have achieved a smoother transition between them. Additionally, my character sketches lacked depth, which posed challenges in conveying emotions and actions effectively. Then again it is just the rough version, so I shouldn't be too hard on myself regarding that.

One significant lesson I've gained from this early draft is the value of simplicity. I initially overcomplicated certain scenes, which could have made the final project more challenging. Going forward, I plan to simplify visuals and focus on the storytelling or the way I show the narrative.

Despite all that, my initial draft has provided valuable insights that will definitely contribute to the success of my final storyboard.
